After receiving this life-altering diagnosis in 2001, Sara channeled her strength and determination into creating a positive future for her family.<\/p><p>For over a decade, Sara fought tirelessly to save her sons and preserve their sense of family. Despite her unwavering efforts, she lost her eldest son, Alex, in December 2012.
